Yesterday was September 1st – and the start of what I consider fall! Technically, the season of fall doesn’t start until later in September, but as I sit here in a cozy sweater, covered with a blanket, it sure feels a lot like fall to me! The weather this time of year can be a little all over the place in Northeast Ohio: some days it’s hot and sunny; some days it’s chilly and overcast. Ryan and I got married September 5, 2009, and it was in the high 70’s with lots of sunshine. The poor groomsmen were sweating in their tuxes! But almost eight years later, the weather calls for long sleeves and umbrellas.
Anyway, this is why the start of September always means the start of fall to me. A few years ago, my sister and I did a daily fall post on this blog – and it was so much fun! I’ve been wanting (and meaning) to write more, so I thought this would be a perfect time to get back in the game, so to speak. Over the next month, I’ll be sharing my favorite things about fall: recipes, fashion, home decor and pretty much anything else that makes my heart happy. If you’re like me and have shades of red, orange, brown and yellow running through your veins, I hope you’ll join me!
Happy Fall, ya’ll!
With love,
